Looking Beyond the Clouds
Hello, my name is Sage (She/Her/Hers). I am 30 years old and work professionally as a Registered Nurse. Space has always been a passion of mine although I never got to pursue astronomy academically. I recently purchased a telescope with the intention of getting into astrophotography as a hobby. Well that rabbit hole is deep and full of information, data, and educational topics. So I crafted a 6 year curriculum comparable to a B.S. in Astronomy at a United States university in order to have a plan. Part of this plan is to participate in citizen science someday and make meaningful contributions to the field of astronomy without a formal education. I will be 100% self taught and wanted to document that journey online, mostly as a way to stay organized, but also as a way to share what I learn, discover, and photograph with the world.
